Movingdots appoints new CEO

Next phase to accelerate growth in the automotive and mobility space

We are pleased to announce today that Hendrik Todte has been appointed as the new CEO of Movingdots. An experienced business leader, he succeeds Donato Genovese and assumes responsibilities on 1 March 2022.

Hendrik Todte has more than 15 years of experience at the intersection between insurance, technology and new mobility. An innovation specialist within the mobility services industry in the field of MaaS fleets, digital risk solutions, B2B2C partnering, and connectivity solutions. He started his career at Daimler and worked on connectivity programs. He was Head of the Automotive Innovation Center at Allianz Partners and, over the last five years, he was a founding member and Chief Product Officer to establish and grow the new venture ERGO Mobility Solutions (EMS).

"There is tremendous potential in data-driven risk solutions. We have merely seen the beginning. Hence, I am curious to lead Movingdots towards developing sophisticated data-driven solutions in the automotive industry, to the benefit of insurers, car manufacturers, fleet operators and drivers worldwide. With our current and upcoming solutions, we really want to add value to daily business", said the new Movingdots CEO, Hendrik Todte.

"Hendrik Todte has a strong track record of delivering connected, autonomous, shared and electric (CASE) solutions and digital innovations. He has the very mindset that suits a modern technology environment like Movingdots. As CEO, he will strategically address the next phase of growth of our connectivity business and the pace of digital transformation emerging in the automotive and mobility landscape, accelerating the value captured through data", stated Andrea Keller, Head of Swiss Re's Automotive & Mobility Solutions. "Speaking on behalf of the team, I would like to also thank the outgoing co-CEOs Donato Genovese and Andras Kelemen for their strong dedication and leadership over the past years in the company's journey".
